Mr. and Mrs. Davis: Gucci and Keyshia’s $1.7 Million Wedding

After seven years of being together. Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka-Oir are officially husband and wife. The two tied the knot on October 17th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Miami, Florida, surrounded by family, friends, and fellow celebrities.

While it’s usually recommended that three main colors are chosen to create a theme to be carried out, the new Mr. and Mrs. went for a classic, all-white wedding. Gucci was dressed in a crisp white suit, dazzling silver loafers, and an icy bow tie, while Keyshia wore an extravagant sparkly gown with a diamond-encrusted headpiece.

The couple scored $650 thousand by working with BET to air the wedding live. The contract includes a 10-episode series, called The Mane Event which shows the lives of Gucci and Keyshia as they prepare for their big day.

During the ceremony, Gucci excitedly walked down the aisle to Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” before being followed by love songs like Kelly Clarkson’s “A Moment Like This” and John Legend’s “All Of Me” as the bridal party walked up to the altar. Keyshia made her grand entrance to Patti Labelle’s “If You Only Knew.”

While it’s typical for the average wedding to include 136 guests since 2014, this wedding guest list was far from average. Guests included celebrities like 2 Chainz, Diddy, Karrueche Tran, Big Sean, Rick Ross, and many more.

The details of this $1.7 million wedding are what people can’t stop talking about. Keyshia’s “bouquet” was far from traditional. Instead of flowers, it consisted of diamonds, which is a current trend amongst brides around the world.

The cake itself cost $75,000, required three months of planning, three days of baking, 8,000 handmade sugar flowers and 2,500 Swarovski crystals. The cake included five flavors: amaretto, carrot, red velvet, banana nuts, and Jamaican rum cake. The masterpiece reached over 10 feet tall and was made up of four double-tier layers. The cake was complete with white frosting roses with crystals dangling from each section, giving it the look of a chandelier. The best part? The newlyweds cut the giant desert with a blinged-out sword.

Pastor Toure Roberts, who officiated the wedding, led the couple in these heartwarming vows: “I, Radric Davis, am blessed today to receive you, Keyshia Ka’oir, as my wife, as my soul mate, my lover, my best friend and my lifetime partner. It’s an honor to love you, to serve you, to protect you and to create an environment that you will flourish in. I commit today in front of God and these witnesses, to love you with all my might, to render every other woman irrelevant to me and to always fight for this love.”

Gucci Mane’s real name, Radric Davis, came as a shock to some viewers.

Social media has been filled with gorgeous pictures from the lavish wedding and posts by their celebrity friends wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness.
