Every year, on average, over 45 million people move. People move across country, they move away from their parents, they move to different cities, they move back in with their parents, they move down the street and they move all over the world.
It’s not everyday that these people who are moving get their own reality television show simply because… well, they are moving.
According to Variety, that’s exactly the case with six couples moving to Los Angeles. The reason these six have been selected to have their own reality TV series? The husbands are all players on the Los Angeles Rams.
L.A. hasn’t had a pro football team in more than 20 years and since the Rams left St. Louis and moved to L.A., there is already a new reality series hitting the E! network before the teams even begin playing.
“We are excited to take viewers inside the exclusive lifestyles of these top athletes and their families as they navigate a new city, new friendships, new schools and the inevitable Hollywood gossip,” said Jeff Olde, E!’s Executive Vice President of programming and development.
DeadLine Hollywood reports the series, Hollywood and Football, will premiere this fall with six one-hour episodes featuring a different player from the Los Angeles Rams and their family. Jenny Daly, Shauna Thomas and Rob Lobl are executive producers for the series.
“E! has a track record of success with pop culture programming centered in the world of sports,” Olde added. “This series will capture the off the field perspective of one of football’s most anticipated and high profile events as the Rams return to L.A.”
The series will feature wide receiver Kenny Britt, offensive linemen Rodger Saffold, tight end Lance Kendricks, running back Chase Reynolds, wide receiver Bradley Marquez, and tight end Cory Harkey. And their wives: Sabrina Britt, Asia Saffold, Danielle Kendricks, Kila Reynolds, Mellissa Hernandez and Bianca Harkey.
